We won the Cricket World Cup...
And Yipppeeeee to getting my son to sleep at 1am. You may take me to be bad mother, but the Cricket fever does that to you. Oh! And I haven't really been bad, I did get him to sleep by 9pm, its just my shouting plus the sounds of bursting crackers and drums in the last over, woke him up. I am really sorry, may be not so much, cos he was able to enjoy our win too.
Getting him back to sleep was tough, what with all the shouting in our building and surroundings, to disturb him. Just happy he is asleep again.
Even though I enjoyed this win, was sad I had to watch the match alone. What I wouldn't do to be with my friends and family to really enjoy this. Anyway, don't want to destroy the moment with my senti dialogues.
God, what I wouldn't do be there in the stadium with thousands of others to watch it. Though I didn't the Active Cricket, it was kinda boring.. Kudos to our team of youngsters for this win.
Small cricket trivia: The first world cup we won was in '83, the year i was born. And the second was the world cup after my Son's birth and also the same month. May be me and my family might be proving lucky for my country. Oh, if my son is more lucky we will win all the future world cups, if the world doesn't according to Mayan calender.
